Our trauma-informed approach to therapy is centered around meeting the unique needs of each individual we work with. Our feminist approach is grounded in the understanding that gender, power, and privilege play significant roles in how we experience trauma. We use a variety of different treatment approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization & reprocessing, and expressive arts therapy, among others. With Bold Lotus Trauma Therapy, you can be sure that you will receive the best possible care and support during your healing journey.

Client Testimonials

"I have met with Katie a few times and have found her to be very insightful, helpful, courteous and respectful. Learning to cope with trauma, learn from it and grow from it. I look forward to more sessions with Katie as we continue on my healing path. I highly recommend her! <3" M

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

We acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Attawandaron, Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and Lunaapeewak peoples who have longstanding relationships to the land, water and region of southwestern Ontario. The local First Nation communities of this area include Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Oneida Nation of the Thames, and Munsee-Delaware Nation. Additionally,  there is a growing urban Indigenous population who make the City of London home. We value the significant historical and contemporary contributions of local and regional First Nations of Turtle Island (North America).
